Mortgage Inspections
Limited Property Improvement Information for Mortgage Transactions
A Mortgage Inspection provides limited information about the apparent relationship between existing improvements and the property’s deed lines.
It is primarily intended for mortgage lenders and title insurers evaluating real estate as collateral.
When You May Need This Service
- Mortgage lender requirements
- Residential financing transactions
- Title insurer requests for a mortgage inspection
What We Provide
- Field investigation and measurements
- Approximate representation of relevant improvements
- A Mortgage Inspection drawing
- A written report when required
Important: A Mortgage Inspection Is Not a Boundary Survey.
It does not establish property boundaries, does not include setting property corners, and must not be used for construction, fence placement, boundary disputes, or determining actual property lines.
If your project requires a reliable boundary determination, a Boundary Survey is the appropriate service.
