Agricultural Drone Mapping & Crop Monitoring
Advanced Aerial Mapping and Remote Sensing for Agriculture
NG Net PLLC provides drone-based agricultural mapping, multispectral data processing, thermal mapping, and geospatial analysis to support farmers, agricultural consultants, land managers, and agribusiness professionals.
Modern UAS technology can provide detailed information about vegetation patterns, field conditions, terrain, and seasonal changes. By integrating aerial imagery with GIS and geospatial analysis, we help clients identify areas that may require additional field investigation and support more informed agricultural decisions.
Services are available for complete UAS mapping projects or independent processing of suitable client-provided agricultural imagery and datasets.
Our Agricultural Drone Services
- Agricultural Field Mapping: High-resolution aerial imagery, orthomosaics, field documentation, and acreage calculations.
- Multispectral Mapping: Processing of imagery captured with appropriate multispectral sensors to evaluate vegetation variability.
- NDVI & Vegetation Indices: Generation of Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) maps and other vegetation-index products to visualize crop-vigor patterns.
- Thermal Agricultural Mapping: Processing of thermal imagery to investigate surface-temperature differences, potential irrigation variability, and areas that may require further field assessment.
- Crop Monitoring: Repeat mapping to document vegetation development, seasonal changes, and differences between collection dates.
- Irrigation & Drainage Mapping: Terrain analysis, surface drainage documentation, and mapping of potential water-accumulation areas.
- Agricultural Terrain Mapping: Elevation analysis, surface models, contours, and topographic information for land management.
- Vegetation & Environmental Monitoring: Mapping of vegetation cover, field conditions, and changes across agricultural or managed landscapes.
Multispectral & Thermal Data Analysis
Multispectral and thermal imagery provide different types of information.
Multispectral imagery captures spectral bands, including near-infrared wavelengths, that can be used to calculate NDVI and other vegetation indices.
Thermal imagery measures apparent surface-temperature patterns and may help identify areas of temperature variability associated with irrigation conditions, vegetation stress, or other environmental factors.
These datasets can be combined with RGB imagery, terrain information, and GIS data to provide additional spatial context.
Vegetation indices and thermal patterns are indicators for further investigation, not independent diagnoses of crop disease, nutrient deficiencies, or irrigation problems.
